MEW Shifts is a comprehensive shift management tool designed to help shift-based employees manage and monitor their work schedules with ease. It offers real-time attendance tracking, shift scheduling, vacation logging, and customizable shift views to provide users with an accurate, visual representation of their work timeline.

Shift Scheduling

• MEW Shifts organizes shifts (day and night) in a calendar format, with colors representing different shifts for intuitive scheduling.
• Users can select their team (A, B, C, D), and the app dynamically adjusts to display the correct shifts based on the team’s unique offset schedule.
• Location options such as Alzour, Sabbiya, East Doha, West Doha, Shuaiba, and Shuwaikh add further customization for users.

Attendance Tracking

• The app allows users to record attendance with Attend and Leave buttons.
• Attendance tracking includes start and end times, and shifts are recorded automatically for easy reference.
• Users are guided by a gauge, visually indicating the time remaining in their shift.

Shift-Based Gauge and Notifications

• A gauge displayed below the calendar fills based on the current time in relation to the shift, with colors to represent the shift type (yellow for day shifts, blue for night shifts, and grey when not on shift).
• Attend and Leave buttons are displayed inline with the gauge, with button functionality based on the user's attendance status.

Vacation and Leave Management

• Users can log vacations, sick leaves, and other absences, which are displayed directly on the calendar.
• Shift delays are also recorded, allowing users to keep accurate track of their work history.

Custom Notifications

The app uses notifications to remind users about upcoming shifts and attendance status.

User Guide

Setting Up the App

• During setup, select your team (A, B, C, or D) and your work location.
• Review the initial calendar layout, which adjusts based on your selected team and location, displaying day/night shifts accordingly.

Using the Attendance Buttons

• Tap Attend to mark the start of your shift. Leave becomes active once you’ve marked attendance.
• The Leave button is only active during the shift or until 9 hours after the shift ends.
• You can only press Attend again after recording a Leave.

Viewing and Managing Vacations

• Access the Vacations section to add, edit, or remove vacation days. Each vacation entry is directly visible on the calendar.

Currently, team and location changes require reinstalling the app. Future updates may offer more flexibility.
